Tennessee Coalition to End Domestic & Sexual Violence, TN

The Tennessee Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence (TCEDSV) has grown from five programs that began in 1983 to more than sixty programs today. The Coalition’s mission is to end domestic and sexual violence in the lives of Tennesseans and to transform societal attitudes and institutions that promote or condone such violence. The TCEDSV pursues this mission through advocacy, education, and initiatives that strengthen the capacity of programs and communities to address domestic and sexual violence.

The Tennessee Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence (TCEDSV) proposes to address the physical, mental, emotional, and behavioral impacts of domestic violence on abused parents and their children by partnering with the Mary Parrish Center to establish a demonstration site offering specialized services for some of the most vulnerable families in the state. These services will include implementation of the Mom’s Empowerment Program and Kids Club models, along with advocacy and individual or family therapy.
