Progressive Life Center (PLC) Project Title: Family Strength: Empowering Families and Protecting Futures will address the urgent needs of underserved and marginalized residents in Prince George’s County, Maryland, who are victims of family violence, domestic violence, or dating violence. Our comprehensive program will provide culturally sensitive support and interventions to enhance the safety, well-being, and empowerment of these vulnerable populations while seeking to develop an evidence-based model for duplication. Year one of programming will focus on expanding partnerships, conducting community engagement activities, and starting service provision for families and training for educators, providers and/or first responders. Year two will solidify partnerships, continue service to a total of 72 families over two years, and education efforts training 45 educators, providers and/or first responders over two years.
