Jewish Child Care Association of New York, NY

Jewish Child Care Association of New York (JCCA) helps abused, neglected and traumatized children heal physically and emotionally through compassionate, quality care. Their 37 programs include foster care, residential treatment facilities, mental health services, case management, education programs and special services for children who have been the victims of sexual abuse. We serve New York’s neediest and most vulnerable children and families to ensure that their safety, permanency, and well-being leads to a life of stability and promise.

JCCA will provide individual and group sessions to abused parents/caregivers and their children in Brooklyn, New York. JCCA plans to serve between 75 to 100 families through this two-year project. JCCA will leverage its over 200 years of expertise as a service provider for youth who experienced trauma and live in marginalized communities to bring best practices to the special circumstances of families impacted by Domestic Violence/Intimate Partner Violence (DV/IPV). JCCA offers services in a structured, safe and trauma-informed environment that meets the specialized needs of families that are victims of domestic violence.
