Contra Costa Family Justice Alliance, CA

The Contra Costa Family Justice Alliance (CCFJA) operates five Family Justice Centers in California’s Contra Costa and Solano Counties. Each Center is a warm and welcoming hub providing a full range of co-located, trauma-informed direct services for children, youth and adults affected by interpersonal violence (IPV), including domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, elder abuse, and human trafficking. Through this project, CCFJA will:

-Provide one-stop, comprehensive, trauma-informed victim services at each of our Centers to support the social, emotional, and developmental needs of adults, children, and youth who have experienced or been exposed to DV and IPV

-Provide Peer Support

-Enhance community-based interventions for children and youth exposed to DV / IPV and address barriers that may have kept them from services

-Ensure children’s access to safe, structured contact with a parent who has been abusive through Solano’s Safe 4 All of Us Supervised Visitation & Exchange Center

-Provide training and technical assistance that helps professionals and community members identify and intervene in DV and IPV, as well as deliver training workshops on best-practice guidelines for service providers who impact children and youth exposed to violence, through the Family Justice Institute
