The vision of Center for Holistic Development, Inc. is to increase their reach to youth, adults, families, and community care providers through education, prevention, advocacy, and collaboration. Their goal is to help individuals relieve emotional and psychological pain, make behavioral changes that facilitate growth, and increase self-awareness and self-knowledge leading to healthy living.
Center for Holistic Development, Inc. promotes balance and well-being with programs and services uniquely designed to culturally, linguistically, and developmentally meet the needs of all individuals that walk through their doors. The primary goal of this program will be to reduce children’s externalizing and internalizing behaviors and attitudes towards violence, enhance parenting competence by mitigating the effects of traumatic stress from exposure to intimate partner violence, educate parents about the harmful impact of secondary violence on children, and increase the capacity to service child-parent dyads.
