Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma

The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma’s Family Violence Prevention Counseling (FVPC) Program services will be offered primarily to families involved within the Indian Child Welfare system in the 10.5 county tribal service area who are victims of domestic violence and children who have been exposed to domestic violence. Services will be offered to children and the non-offending parents whether they are still in the same home or if the children are in a safety plan out of home or in a foster home.

These counseling services will be a complement to current support services that the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma (CNO) offers, such as childcare assistance, housing assistance, emergency services, and, financial and educational aid. Our FVPC Program will promote healing and strength to break the cycle of violence. CNO is committed to this mission and stamping out violence.
