An Introduction to NCDVTMH’s Guide for Engaging and Supporting Parents Affected by Domestic Violence

This webinar will provide an overview of the Guide, including how to apply its framework, principles and strategies to support parents affected by domestic violence. The Guide offers practical suggestions for engaging in conversations about sensitive topics related to parenting as well as strategies for strengthening parent-child relationships that have been affected by domestic violence and other trauma. The webinar will also highlight the experiences of two Chicago area domestic violence programs using the Guide and their perspectives on its impact.
